Brignola takes Italian SBK Championship for Guandolini Ducati at Mugello CIV 10-10-09
A beautiful sunny day and a beautiful setting greeted the new champions at the Italian Mugello circuit who are; in 125 GPs Riccardo Moretti ., Andrea Boscoscuro in the 600 Stock, Michele Pirro in the 600 Super Sport, Stefano Cruciani in the Superstock 1000 and Norino Brignola in Superbike. The sixth round of the CIV has instead seen the victories of the same Moretti in 125, Ferruccio Lamborghini (600 Stocks) Alessio Velini (600 SS), Cruciani (1000 Superstock) and Luca Conforti (Superbike).
125 GP - Though he had the title in his pocket from the penultimate round, Riccardo Moretti (Aprilia - Ellegi Racing) has not been spared and led a race still in the early positions, believed in the victory, even when a few hundred meters from the flag.
600 SuperStock - Ferruccio Lamborghini (Yamaha - Media Action Team Race Pro) had promised that he would have won at Mugello and so it was, but at Bologna the victory did not help to win the title that went to Andrea Boscoscuro (Yamaha - Team Coast FCC ), certainly the most consistent of the top group. Lamborghini after the last round ended Fabio Massei (Yamaha) and the same Boscoscuro that the finish has burned Roberto Tamburini (Yamaha - WCR Bike Service) for a single vintage. On the final podium of the championship, preceded Boscoscuro Lamborghini and Tamburini.
600 Supersport - After the great disappointment of the race in July, the same circuit of Mugello, Alessio Velini (Yamaha - Team VR) was rescued with a superb victory which ensured second place in the league. The race was all a heads up between umbria and Michele Pirro (Yamaha - Team Lorenzini by Leoni), already mathematically possible, at least until, with two laps to run, slipped to the Apulian "Correntaio" in an effort to attack the rival. Bella also the struggle for the remaining podium positions, which saw several riders in a row until the checkered flag. The end behind Velini concluded Mirko Giansanti (Triumph - Team Speed Shadows) and Diego Ciavattini (Honda). With the fourth Cristiano Migliorati (Kawasaki - Puccetti Racing), secured third place at the flag.
Superstock 1000 - Stefano Cruciani (Ducati - Stop and Go Dunlop) has threatened surprises, sprinted into first place as the starter, there he stayed until the checkered flag, going to take the fifth win of the season which means the third career title . The thirty Marches crossed the line ahead an increasingly competitive Michele Magnoni (Yamaha) and a surprising Riccardo Della Czech (Yamaha - Red and Black). The turning point of the race on lap six by the fall without any physical consequences of Domenico Colucci (Ducati - Barn Racing), a direct rival to the title of Cruciani. In the championship Cruciani preceded Danilo Petrucci (Yamaha - Piellemoto), now sixth, and Colucci.
Superbikes - A race worthy of a final, surely the most beautiful of all the championship, the one that saw the victory of Luca Conforti (Ducati - Barni Racing), after a tough fight, which lasted the entire race with Matteo Baiocco (Ducati - Guandalini) and Luca Scassa (Kawasaki Pedercini)}. The title went to Norino Brignola (Ducati - Guandalini), now sixth and was limited to control the race on lap four after a direct rival to the title Marco Borciani was forced to retire from a minor mechanical failure (breakage of the wire coil). In the championship Brignola headed Conforti and Baiocco. At the end of the competitions, at the Mugello circuit, a great feast with the awards parade of champions that has seen the teams and manufacturers of tires that won the titles of the CIV 2009 .
